(1) This website and its contents (including any digital resources available for complimentary download) are provided for general information and personal use only.

(2) All text, images, designs, calligraphy styles, and artwork displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Angie Fong (the “Artist”) unless otherwise stated.

(3) You shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Artist. Personal or social sharing of any content from this website is permitted, provided that appropriate credit is given to the Artist or The Lady’s Writing.

(4) We reserve the right to update, amend, or remove any content from this website at any time without prior notice.

The following terms apply only to products purchased from our online shop and do not apply to any commissions or calligraphy services, which are governed by separate terms.

A. Shipping & Delivery

(1) Except for pre-order items (for which the dispatch schedule will be advised separately), all shop orders will be dispatched via SF Express standard delivery within 3–5 business days after order confirmation.

(2) For pre-order items, any expected date of dispatch stated in the product description is for reference only and does not represent the actual delivery date. While we will try to dispatch any such orders on or soon after the expected date of dispatch, we do not guarantee delivery by any specific date.

(3) Orders to be delivered to overseas addresses will be shipped via Hongkong Post international registered mail or SF Express, subject to the costs and availability of such delivery services. Any international shipping costs shall be borne by you. We will inform you of the available shipping options and the associated costs after order confirmation.

B. Returns & Exchanges

(1) Returns or exchanges are accepted only for items that are already damaged at the time of receipt.

(2) To be eligible for a return or exchange:

• the item must be unused and in its original condition;

• the issue must be reported within 3 days of receipt; and

• clear photographic evidence of the damage must be provided.

(3) Items showing natural variations, minor imperfections inherent to handcrafted products, or damage caused by misuse or improper handling are not eligible for return or exchange.

C. Product Images

All product images, mock-ups, and visual representations are for reference only. Colours and details may vary due to screen settings and the handcrafted nature of the products. Such variations do not constitute defects.

A. Engagement Fee

A non-refundable engagement fee is chargeable for any engagement for commissions, calligraphy or design services to cover any costs arising from the initial consultation and preparation.

B. Priority Service Fee

(1) A priority service fee may apply to projects requiring an expedited turnaround or short-notice commencement (the “Priority Service Fee”).

(2) This includes (but is not limited to):

• requests made within a shorter timeframe than the estimated processing time communicated under Part D below;

• projects requiring re-prioritisation of existing work; or

• urgent deadlines requested by the client.

(3) Any applicable Priority Service Fee will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins.

C. Processing Time

(1) Processing times vary depending on the scope, quantity, and complexity of the commission or services requested.

(2) Estimated processing time will be advised after an initial discussion and confirmation of engagement details.

D. Fees & Additional Expenses

(1) Unless otherwise expressly communicated, the Artist will provide a selection of basic inks and paints for any commissioned work or calligraphy services.

(2) Any inks, paints, or surface materials outside of the provided range are generally subject to additional costs, which will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins.

E. Artistic Process & Variations

(1) For calligraphy work that is created by hand, natural variations in lettering, spacing, ink flow, and style are inherent to the process and form part of the work’s character.

(2) Such variations shall not constitute defects or grounds for cancellation, refund, or revision beyond the agreed scope of work.

(1) Workshop bookings are confirmed only upon full payment unless otherwise stated.

(2) Workshop fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed, except where a workshop is cancelled or rescheduled by us.

(3) In the event that a workshop is cancelled or rescheduled by us, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.

(4) Materials provided during workshops are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you provide when using our website, purchasing products, or commissioning calligraphy or design services.

This information is used only to provide our services, process orders, deliver products, and communicate with you.

B. Payment Information

Payments are processed securely through third-party providers such as PayPal. We do not collect or store your payment details.

(2) Your information may be shared only with third parties when necessary to deliver your order or commission (e.g., shipping companies).
